About Me

Tiffany here. Thanks for checking out my humble abode here on the internet. A little bit about me:

I live in Northeastern North Carolina with my husband and four scrumptiously adorable and hilariously rambunctious kiddos. We oversee a church plant in Edenton, N.C., and love to share Jesus with the community.

I love good food, old movies, rolling hills, and (not) long walks on the beach. A good nap every once in a while never hurt anyone either.

My Style

I shoot in natural light utilizing natural posing, meaning I am NOT going for stiffly posed people with sterile smiles.

Our sessions will be fun! You can relax and loosen up, as I work to capture your family's personality.

And, if you're someone who feels uncomfortable in front of the camera, DON'T WORRY! I'll direct you the whole time, posing you in natural ways and prompting you to react with each other and capture true emotion and real moments.

My editing style is soft and natural, meaning your photos will look close to real life but with lighter, softer vibes.

My Experience

Where it all began

Photography has been an interest of mine since childhood, but the interest blossomed in high school when I worked in our school's homemade darkroom developing my photos and then matting my own prints (don't ask me to matte anything for you).

While working on my B.S. degree in Communication from Old Dominion University, I studied many aspects of media including photography, film, journalism, and more!

When I started working in a full-time position as Communication Director in 2015, I grew in my knowledge of media and technology. Since then I've been working in photography, videography, and editing on a weekly basis. I've shot event, portrait, studio, and ultra-creative promotional/campaign photos.

Starting my own business

Before I started my own business, I had people (who knew what I did at work) ask me to take photos for them. I usually said no. One day, on a whim I thought, "Hey, why not?" I took a recently purchased hand-me-down DSLR and took some photos for my friend.

Driving home I thought, "That was so much fun! Why am I not doing this?" That's when I decided to branch out and start my own biz in January 2022.

I began working with a local wedding photographer that year and have photographed many weddings since then.

At the beginning of 2024, I joined a team of freelance photographers serving marketing firm, Nicole J & Co., and have had a blast dabbling in fashion photography, product photography, and branding photography as well.

What it looks like now

Now, with experience behind me, I continue to offer people in my area wonderful experiences and beautiful photos to hang on their walls and share with their friends/family.

Photography is a love of mine that has matured with time. Now, I would love to share that with you.
